Hi, whenever I play badminton I get skin peeling off my big toe, occasionally other toes. I'm not sure why as well, it might be the shoes are too big for me or the shoes aren't good (power cushion 35). But I have sensitive toes so whenever I go for a lift and if my toes touch the tip of my shoes It would hurt a lot, so I prefer big shoes. And my peeling it's not just skin coming off my toe, it's a small area of skin that's separated from the flesh and just stays like that. Anyone know what to do? Is a problem with shoes? Or is it just how I am? Thanks

I have similar issue so much so that the skin at that area has hardened. Changing different shoes didn't help. But using socks that are less slippery in the shoe helps abit. Less leg movement inside the shoe. Maybe my laces are too lose. I don't like my laces too tight.

    Had similar problems.
Solved it by getting better sport socks and good insoles.
I'd also recommend removing the dead skin and let it heal out.
Check for callused (hard) skin regularly and remove it with a planer.

Same scenario happened to me when I was just starting. The problem was wrong footwork.
So I let it heal (naturally), then learned/adopted the proper way of landing your heel first on that last step on your racket leg when reaching for a shot moving forward.
Apart from that, get really, really comfy footwear. Thin socks are a no-no.
