Ahsan/Hendra took the last point. 30-29 Well, it was as close as it got. Ou scored one than gave away one. ZN's miss his serve was a fatal one. Ou did really well compared to his usual standard.
What a freakin MD game ! The Daddies just got by a hair, Ou Xiang Yi was playing great, while ZN was making plenty unforced errors as the game near its end.
Crazy! The game was decided at the very last point. I know it that the daddies will win. 30-29 is the tighest. @yuquall sorry, you are unlucky again.
I was lucky that I didn't have to pull my hair that much this time watching Ou. Though the last points kind of excruciating. ZN missed his chances.
Chen Long is not yet consistent enough, I supposed, or is Lu Guangzu on the verge of a breakout? With the CHN MS draw being what it was, it's almost guaranteed only one of them would be in the QFs, esp when Shi Yuqi's fitness is suspect, back-to-back tournaments is out of his depth at the moment. If SYQ doesn't have enough rest this week after last week's final, he may flop again next week at the HK Open.
He Bingjiao prevailed over An Se Young, in two straight sets to boot, more than I expected. Too bad, it's not on livestream, hope to catch it on youtube later if available.
ZN can't complain much towards Ou today, he himself had two bad serves that lead to direct points from the opponents and was generally indecisive in the end. At least it was visible again that he cared, rarely seen him this animated and talkative. Here's to more of that in the future.
Hendra's reaction is just out of this world. the way he react to that drive serve at 28-29, that's just amazing.
Oh he should be proud of Ou today. Yeah.. ZN seemed to be too eager toward the end. Rarely sees that side of him. The last time I saw him did that was in DO final against minions in the end of G2. Hopefully this is a sign of a good start. Though with Ou it could go either way.. but definitely I want to see more of ZN.
Don't know why fajar/rian keep struggling against this malaysian pair, they didn't have any problem beating goh/tan but kept losing to soh/aron
