Hi guys, just recently I got a victor ars90k which I strung at 27lbs with bg80. Before this I was using duora z strike at ~26lbs using nanogy 99. I feel that, despite the tension being higher and the string is harder feel, it feels less hard than the dzs. I have previously had the dzs at 28lbs bg66ultimax and it was too hard for me then, although this was a few years ago and was with a different string.

My question is, do compact headed rackets feel tighter at the same tension than normal rackets and should I string them differently according to this factor?

Don't know if this is in the right section btw

If there is a difference, yes they will feel tighter. The same force on string bed will deflect the strings slightly less.

So for compact head rackets like the Z series, should I string them lower than regular sized rackets?
