Yes that's what I have done but fresh 26lbs vs a drop 26lbs from say 29lbs is different . Fresh 26lbs wins hands down.
That's kind of debatable. If you're strictly talking about yonex strings then yeah I would agree, but I think no.1 is an exception. It's the only string that seems to play better after the initial drop.
Have you tried Yonex BG 9 Strings they are cheap & Will be fun to play with. Those are at least better than BG 65.
I don't Understand why. But I can explain why I said this. 1. BG9 is Thinner strings than BG65 2. It's thickness is .66mm 3. BG9 are meant to be Repulsion Power Strings 4. They are Very good in Shock Absorption as well. 5. They are Costing Rs.220.00 Where as BG65 Costs Rs.435.00 Many of my customers tried this string & 80% of them repeated the same string. 12% of them went for better string in the repulsion category. & don't have data of rest of the 8%. We initially sold 108 Strings & this data from that sales.
They are pretty decent string for the price category. Almost like bg66 on a budget. They are made in china, and probably targeting lower end of the market. Sent from my Mi 9 SE using Tapatalk
I've just checked - you can't even buy it around here (Europe), so I'm afraid that is not going to happen.
It is easily found in indonesia and malaysia. A pack of BG9 will cost around 4-6 usd. Probably they do not distribute to Europe as the stringing cost might be more than the actual price of the string itself (not really sure about this) or it might not be distributed to europe at all. It Costs Rs. 220.00 in India Which is around to 3 USD. At this cost you can experiment a lot with tension & Other Patterns once you decide on tension & pattern you can go for Aerobite Or Aerosonic Which gives you better durability & performance.
