If thats directed to LD then I guess he has made it clear that he does play for his fans and if he loves playing what he loves then he can even keep playing till 60 and I would still buy tickets to go and see him play Just his sheer presence is sort of an honour to the badminton court, the opponent and the fans...It doesnt matter if how well he plays its enough for me that he is playing just like I love seeing LXR on court just her sheer presence is what I love,in my view legends never grow old cause Legends are pure Gold And Also if your trying to target CL with this "OLD PLAYER" comment then the 2016 OG Champ and Two times World Champ..then my Bold letters statement counts him too
how did he know his opponent was tired ??? or, how did he know his opponent will go to the final at the first tournament ???
Congrats JJ and no worries ASG keep trying hard and do remember to keep plying safe for its the very crucial times your all in and I wont want to any player to go through what my SYQ is goin through.. You did your best,But JJ was Too good today Dont worry, keep your head held high !
Very good point. Even I thought that too . First of all, players should withdraw if they are tired. So, there would not be any excuses. And also I don't like JOJ . But saying he used the chances very well is simply ridiculous .
I watched him now. He is not power player like ASG or JOJ. But his wrist speaks well. That's why you can see more and more good players are losing to him . He keeps them guessing all the time. I felt like Sai and Seshar are similar in technique. They never jump smash unnecessarily. They will use that only at times effectively and efficiently.
I know you probably didn't mean it the way it was taken down by others. I just wanted to add that the first of the two consecutive tournaments that you mention was only a Super 100, from which all three Danish MS withdrew before closing date. So technically not a withdrawal but a collective change of minds / priorities. He was sick during China Open. Yeah, one can always question that but he needs all the points he can get. He has no reason not to play if he is able to.
The way Boe serve, thats at least 4 seconds. Dont think he served that long in AE. and yes, that put opponents off. just see how many points won on his serve compared to conrads serve Think its easier to see in G1 when he faces down our screen.
Before today's matching he had won 75% of matches against Gingting. I would not call the result big surprise really. Jorgensen game plan works well against attacking players like Ginting.
HeTan no handshakes at all in G2. really bad and you wonder whos fault. They will meet FajarRian next in DO
And his only loss was a retirement. However, all JOJ's three victories over AG were in 2016. Yet again, considering Ginting's on court time last week, I agree that this result is not a big surprise.
