Apart from Ou/Zhang and Li/Liu match (actually also like this in Korea), the rest is very hard to pick who will win. MD competitiveness is just through the roof. A lot of 52-48 type of matches.

Wouldn't put Li/Liu as clear favorites...minions should win quite clearly though
Choi/Seo don't get easy draws for sure :D

Lord almighty. They have the next hard draw is what I'm saying, nothing more. #4 seed in the first round after a couple tournaments where they faced the minions in the first 2 rounds - they're not lucky with their draws.

Minions to the second round. Wasted the first game.

So another match vs Goh/Tan tomorrow.
I believe Kevin will calm down and focus more on his own game... sigh:confused:

Crazy how much minions can earn in one BWF tour season.

Last year they earned like IDR 8-9 billion... each one of them.

Yep, actually it was the total money that each one of them made in 2018 alone. :D

Kevin mentioned that he earned those money from a great deal of sources like salaries, endorsements/Corporate sponsorships and prize money.

Not to mention the great incentive money from winning gold medal in Asian Games last year. :p

The crazy thing is their whole 2018 earnings is less than what Sindhu get from winning WC.

Phew.. and with her latest sponsorship deal. Li-ning must be so happy with their investment.

I don't think minions will got that much even though they won WC..

According to Forbes, Sindhu in 2018 has total earnings 5.5 million dollars which is 10 times more than Gideon, despite not no1 rank and less trophies.

    Kevin/Marcus to the second round.

Marcus : It wasn't easy to win the rallies. Their defense was quite tight and their front play was good too. We got caught off guard in G1

About their preparation to face their next opponent in Round 2, Goh/Tan :

Kevin : We have to raise our focus and not to take our foot off pedal when we are leading. They have good smashes, powerful shots and not easy to point over them

Marcus : What we want is to win the title here, but we are facing a strong opponent tomorrow. So we are going to focus on one match at a time.

(Korea Open 2019) Kevin/Marcus Melaju Ke Babak Dua
    (Incheon, 25/9/2019)

Jadi fokus satu-satu dulu saja,” ujar Marcus.

Selain Kevin/Marcus, ganda putra Indonesia juga telah meloloskan Wahyu Nayaka Arya Pangkaryanira/Ade Yusuf Santoso. Wahyu/Ade ke babak dua usai mengalahkan Lee Jhe Huei/Yang Po Hsuan (Taiwan) 22-20, 20-22, 21-18.
