closest i got with a racket to replace Ti-10 (broke) was my Adidas Adipower Duoforce, unfortunately it was plagued with quality issues and Adidas Badminton is broke or dead. Amazing racket.

    Hi everyone,

New to the online community. Recently dusted off my old Ti-10 to play some drop-in and came online to see if anyone still talks about this racket. Seems like the first-gen models are pretty scarce. How does this racket hold up against the newer models nowadays?

    Cheers.

This is basically what I would like to know, too. However I am pretty confident, that Ti 10 would still be a competitive racket, since some professional players like Fi Haifeng used to play the yellow Second Generation model not too long ago.

Just did some research on the 1st Generation Ti10. There are two versions - Ti10 R and Ti10 Long (+10mm shaft length). Apparently the Ti10 R seems to be even more rare than the Ti10 Long. Does anybody know what the R-models are sold for nowadays?

It is in fact a legitimate Ti-10 Long. The Serial and Cone Code match. I can state this with confidence because I own a Ti-10 from later in 2001 and the Serial is a little higher ( somewhat in the 31xxxx). However yours is only the Long Version and it is also a watered down 3U Version. The Ti-10 Long can be seen here and there still. If you want a really rare racket you should look for the Ti-10R.

We should petition to get Yonex to bring the Gen1 back! :pEven though it might devalue my collection!

if yonex bring back Ti10, their marketing will collapse.
    New rackets cannot sell

Ti-10 1st gen is one of the best rackets ever made! Fortunately, I own one with good condition.
