Julianne Schenke is a former German WS player who was part of generation when three Wangs were in power, SN and Tine Baun). SN, Tine Baun and Julianne Schenke were the only players who could challenge three Wangs, Jiang Yinjao from 2009-12

It certainly wasnt a negative comment on her. While she didnt play the kind of badminton I enjoy to watch, she sure made the best out of her talent and abilities.

Thank you for understanding. I felt Ginting was favourite to win the match, as he has so many things going for him. Thats a far cry from being my favourite and being biased. However one has to praise Sai for playing as well as he did. Really deserved the win indeed. It still amazes me how Ginting is not able to win having so many things in his favour. For those supporting Ginting and of course for him self, one must hope he one day will get it together.

I dont think there are many players that come even close to that. Vittinghus may be up there, but I dont think anyone else is quite at that level. Possibly Cheng Shao-chieh.

Ginting drawback is his height but he usually compensates it with his speed. But he struggles with players like Sai who tend to change the shuttle directions more often than not which is quite a hindrance to players like Anthony who had to change directions which will affect when they move in such a fast pace , had to stop and turn which will take a toll in their body and allow them to make mistakes. That's why i thought Most players who play against Sai Praneeth struggles. Many good players lose to him in straight games. His Stroke play is very good but he don't have enough speed on his movement which makes him vulnerable to players who are very patient in their playing style.

No no, I was genuinely asking you if I can explain you why I thought about her when you wrote about saina's achievements and everything. Because I certainly remember she used to be the one along with Saina and tine baun challenging the Chinese women's singles dominance those days. She didn't achieved a lot at the biggest of the tournament's but she was an amazing fighter.
