I have checked in the information of your Yonex Nanospeed 8000 shaft- 5462517 cone- 250352TW (date=25 Mar 2005) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its serial no. and date code are legitimate. However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.
Armortec 800 Off purchased on Ebay Serial no: 3748033 Date code: 270389SP I think my racket is a fake one
It's a fake idd, you can tell straight away from the date code, the 9 indicates its made in the year 1999, which is not possible for the AR series
Actually, the date code indicates (Date code: 27 03 8 9SP) 27th March 2008. (which still makes it a fake)!!!!!!
In case you don't know, the current format of the serial numbers is only for rackets made after year 2000. Therefore, you are not going to see any rackets manufactured before year 2000 with the current serial format.
I have checked in the information of your Yonex Nanospeed 8000 Serial code: 5429884 Date code : 100352SP (date=10 Mar 2005) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its serial no. and date code are legitimate. However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.
Thanks for the heads up BJ Many thanks to Leeshim for this great service his offering to everyone here, it's nice to know a real racquet coming my way after going to pay 1200 HK dollars hihi.
Hi leehsim: Can you look this up for me? Cabonex 20 CP which I bought today. The store did check that it's a legit racket so just wanted double verify. 5170385 180943CP Thanks Matt
A friend of mine bought a Yonex Nanospeed 7500 serial number 3748033 270389SP and there is a serial number at the bottom grip 1213CH. This racquet cost around US$60.00 at a local sportshop. Is there such model?
It's a fake. No such thing at NS7500 on Yonex's website. Also a serial number on the bottom of the grip is also another clue and the date format as well.
Please check this racket for me Hello, I am new here. I don't even know how to post it properly. But I am dying to know this racket is fake or not since I must return this in 7 days if this is a fake. I bought it from ebay Sp version. I inspected the racket, look ok except for some painting part that look so shine to me. Well here we go. Yonex Nano 8000: serial 5693986 290452SP. Please reply ASAP. Thank you so much for your help....
I have another racket which I would like verification. It was purchased from Emmy Sports in HK. Iso Ti Swing Power SA - 2785348 111003SP
I have checked in the information of your Yonex 1 Carbonex 20 CP 5170385 180943CP (date=18 Sep 2004) 2 Iso Ti Swing Power SA - 2785348 111003SP (date=11 Oct 2000) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, their serial nos. and date codes are legitimate. However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the rackets carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain their total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.
I am doubtful on the authenticity of the Yonex Nanospeed 8000 serial 5693986 290452SP (date=29 Apr 2005). The serial no. 5693986 is too big and not in trend with the date codes 290452SP. The logic is the same as Post #702 page 39 of this same thread. IMHO, it is a fake.
Please verfiy Can you please verify the authenticity of this racquet. serial number: 7802294 310354AS I bought it on Ebay from a seller in Australia. It seems genuine to me. Thanks.
What model is your Yonex racket? Are there such phrases " Developed by Yonex Japan " painted on the shaft and " Made in Taiwan " on the butt end of the handle green cap?
