It seems that Momota is trying to change his playstyle to be more agressive but it does not work out yet :-?
BZ just defeated the panda...i have to give it to her though HBJ did give her everything but her impaitence this time scratched this game from her board..BZ on the other hand was paitent and only playing power shots where she needed to. Both players well played.

If he goes to final, court 1 is guaranteed. I really don't think his WR1 status matters much in court placement.
Momota Lost in R16. Momota will lose some valuable points as he was the winner in the previous edition.
Biggest upset of the tournament. Its not shocking that AG lost vs KW as he lost multiple times before but KM lost to HYX is unprecedented.
What an amazing display of badminton by KM and his chinese opponent..!! Wonderful game and enjoyed every bit of it..even though KM lost but i feel proud of loving such players who win and lose gracefully. Love you both and best of luck KM for upcoming tournament also Good luck HX for the Nxt round.
Haven't seen Momota lose like that before. He could play with high tempo but committed so many unforced errors during third game. He also lacked variety, just trying to force points by attacking too much. Looking at big picture it is good for him to get some rest before more important tournaments, Japan Open and world championships.
