Hi ppl, I am wondering what is the difference between NS8k and NS7K in terms of: 1. balance (head heavy/even/head light) 2. weight ( assume they are both 2U) 3. stiffness of the shaft In addition, which one of them has a slim frame and/or slim shaft? Thanks (pardon me if these have been mentioned before)
This have been mentioned before. Up right on the forum page, you have a search option. Higly recommended! /Twobeer
according to yy... ns7000 has aero dynamic body which is better for defense. ns8000 has box frame which has more power.
With my own expereince: 1. NS7k should be head light, and 8k is more balanced. 2. I believe both only have 3u and 4u. 3. Both are quite stiff. 4. 8K has the slim frame, which means the durability might be an issue.
HI LB, I just want to check with you. Does 8k says head light on the shaft? I agree with you on 8k should be even balanced, just want to make sure what is being printed on 8k shaft.
I don't own any ISO rackets, as I don't like them, and especially their price. The NS7k / 8k I demoed are from my friends. Once I finished string their rackets, I just took some swing, and for NS7K, I played with it for like 20 min. I did not pay attention on the print. If u need, I can double check with them next time.
yes, it does say headlight balance on the shaft...well on mine it does and it also says slim shaft too just to let ya know, however even tho it says that the balance if headlight, if you measure it, it's actually even....ok well i measured mine, and it has one layer of supergrap over it, it's around 290 but even tho it's even...supposedly it feels headlight, but not SO headlight that it can't produce power the words on one side of the shaft: NANOSPEED 8000 Headlight Balance/Slim Shaft/Made In Japan the words on the other side: NANOSPEED 8000 High Modulus Graphite + Nano Carbon well i've only used it a couple of times, but i must say it's very manuerable compared to my Ti-10 lol after i uesd my NS8K for a little while i was trying my friends MP 99 it felt really weird cause it was vibrating so much more compared to the NS...so i guess the solid feel core made me feel more comfortable when using it...
Thanks for the info guys! LB, to my knowledge the nano series do come in 2U weight At least in Singapore they do.
4U Nanospeeds?!?!? lol that would be extremely light and easy to move around, however power would be an issue then....
http://www.yonex.co.jp/intl/badminton/index.html Looking at the Yonex International site above, it looks like the 8K has the "Solid Feel Core" compared to the 7K.
I hope YY did not mean that for those who uses (including me) NS8k is light headed. Have a nice week there.
Oh I see, must be my fault. I think I messed up with the AT800. I am very sorry to provide the wrong information.
