I have a feeling that CPS will tell more about "the reason behind their resignation". When? It's just a matter of time...

"At this juncture, it's not convenient for me to share in details, we will do so when we return to Malaysia," he said on Sunday (Dec 16). [Source]

Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong also are considering resignation, following the pressure.
Opinion: I am not really surprised with the exodus of the top shuttlers. Most of them are having bad time
for like 2 years already. The pressure are pilling up and with the people wanting new faces, and the national
squad trying to slim down their shuttlers, the conclusion is simple to see.

exodus are great at these conditions.
People can't blame the players anymore and BAM is in high time to do proper refurbishment in their system for the next 10 years

And as BWF is placed in MAS, they will feel the pressure to further divide the tour into more local/regional (can also be league) in order to
PROVIDE DIFFERENT WAYS TO WIN CERTAIN PRESTIGIOUS TOURNAMENT

Along with the goal to further popularize badminton, it is only normal that some teams (in this case country) will go to certain up&down
To maintain the interest on the team (thus to the sport) that competes, it is necessary to break down the competition to certain regional areas where winning such competition is seen as a very big thing

After quitting BAM, they won a 300 and reach at least semi in two 500 tournaments... Shd have gone independent earlier!

Just wondering, why is it so much more difficult to be in BAM? Is it too much training, too little training, too much other duties taking time away from training, too much politics, etc?

One of the orders Chan PS shared is that BAM told him not to post his trip on Instagram… which he disagree

"Orders" shows who is "in charge". Sometimes, people just don't like the person in charge, not about the orders.
When they show they don't like the person in charge, the person in charge will give "orders" which will make them dislike more

I don't know if it affects results. Just stating that it is a rule that they find it hard to absorb

After olympics performance drop but endorsements increase so walking
out of BAM Is the best solution to remains status cos other pairs are catching up and also sponsors is secure for them to run independent. But I believe most fans treat them just like celebrities artist instead of sports person.

Congratulations to CPS/GLY on your sponsorship deal with Yobick. Very happy for you that you can now concentrate fully on your quest to compete at the Tokyo Olympics and not be saddled with financial concerns. It is great that the contract takes care of your travel expenses for all your tournaments through the 2020 Games and beyond.

Hope you guys will come back to the US Open this year. Saw you win it last year and want to see you do it again this July.

Finally, good luck at the World Championships in August.

CPS and GLY getting schooled by WYL/HDP and ZSW/HYQ because they lack sports analyst to help them study opponents.

But BAM is not as gracious as PBSI, look at Hendra/Ahsan, Herry IP still give them guidance even when both of them are independent players.

BAM should not be narrow minded because IMHO, CPS/GLY are more consistent than SL\GSH and LPJ\TKM.
