I'm considering buying this racket, but I mainly play singles. Do you think it's worth it? I can get it for 120 euros in Denmark from li-nings danish shop.
I can’t see why you couldn’t use it mainly for singles (I do). It’s got power and I think it’s good everywhere on the court. There’s certainly more head heavy rackets, but then they will suffer in speed and manouverability.
It's probably better to ask what current rackets you using and any shortcomings. You can use any racket for singles... 120 euros is not a bad price for the N9II. I've imported my N9IIs for more and it's cheaper than anything in the UK at the moment. (You've might've beaten it only with the last aliexpress sales, but risked import fees.)
Thanks for answers. I''ve only owned two rackets, one used old forza nforze something and a Jetspeed s06 (a bit cheaper, even balance, midflex racket). I'm currently looking to buy a new singles racket and buy two of them, so it's a bit of an investment for me and that is why I thought the n9ii looked good especially considering it's a top-end racket that is reasonably priced imo.
Going by Paul's review of the JS06A, it looks like it's in a similar ballpark in terms of specs. Buy one and try it out? Unless you get substantial discounts for buying 2? I was going to buy 2 of the same racket recently, but choose to swap one out for a different racket and I actually liked that racket more...
Oh wow, didn't even see Paul had made a review of it, I thought he mostly reviewed top-end rackets. I guess I should just try it out. There's no shipping costs and it doesn't seem there's any discounts for buying two. Thanks for the help.
Yea I read the start of the thread and saw all the hype and the confusion when he gave it a 4 star rating. It still sounds like a good racket and people seems impressed by the QC, which is obviously important when buying two of the same rackets, so I'm pretty convinced that I will buy one and try it.
How is Duora 10 compared to N9ii, anyone plays both? Similar weight and balance point on these two... Guess D10 is a bit stiffer?
N9ii more heavy in the head, d10 a bit stiffer, if im not mistaken my n9ii is a bit lighter compared to my d10 by 3 or 4 gr, the handle on d10 also longer by a bit, i like both, but if i have to choose i go with n9ii, lots of friends go with their d10, both excellent racket, cant go wrong with either one
Does Li-Ning ever bring back old color schemes? I really like the Black/pink edition but it seems you Can only buy the green/bronze version.
Eh? What are you on about? The base TC75 is the black/pink N9II. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
Oops. Hadn't noticed. It's obviously pricier than the n9ii that my li-ning shop (danish) only sells in the green/bronze version, and I wanted that in black/pink. But I guess I have to pay a little more for the upgraded version if I want the black/pink paintjob. Thanks!
No worries. The new renamed ranges makes it confusing for those who don't have the time to invest understanding it. I don't know if there's a price difference between the old name and the current name though. I figure it's a YMMV situation. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
Get the black/pink n9-2 from the UK, pound is worthless so makes it cheap for you Euro buyers. There are a few online stores which still have it.
Thanks! I can't seem to find it tho in the different shops I looked at. Do you know of any specific shop that still carries it? Most of the time it seems it's either sold out or only available in green.
