:O yes a world of difference in those religions. Reminds me of what David Beckham once said when asked if/when he was going to Christian his child; "don't know yet, we haven't decided what religion to Christian the child into"
Ginting's style is really exciting to watch. Probably one of the FASTEST single player out there. Fast and explosive. Unfortunately that's also his problem, he is (or as I would suspect, ANYONE) unable to sustain such explosive pace for more than 1.5 games. He was visibly exhausted once Momota was able to pull off his comeback in game 2 and Ginting did recover a little at the start of game 3 but quickly faded after and rarely show any more bounce in his legs.
Well, in Indonesia, Catholic and Christian are two very different things. Catholic stands on its own and Catholic people has their legal status in their ID as "Catholic", while the rest of Christians go under "Christian". As far as I can remember, it is illegal in Indonesia for two persons with different religions to get married officially. So it is very important to know what their religion is (Catholic or Christian) because as far as the law concerns, Catholic and Christian are two different religions.
Nah, the two INA peoples with different religion can marry with each other. The law doesn't forbade this. However, it's the social things that make it difficult.
Really? I thought they couldn't register their marriage as I know some couple who had to get married outside Indonesia because they are from different religions. Must have misunderstood.
Yeah, that's why I said that it's social things that makes this kind of marriage difficult. Indonesian are largely moslem. AFAIK, someone who will marry with moslem must convert the religion into Islam. That's the Islam religion law, I think.
so you say Ginting is the most exciting player in MS right now? It will be nice if he can win like Kevin who is the most exciting player in MD.. but Life is usually unfair. you can play boring game like KM/CL and be champion.
I don't know about you, but watching someone being able to produce high quality shots majority of the time during a match with very few unforced errors is pretty interesting to me
Depends. High-risks shots are much more exhilarating to watch. Maybe I'm just a bit biased towards LCW and LD but I digress.
Frankly, I believe Anthony Ginting has the potential to be a great player like Taufik Hidayat in accomplishments one day. How far and how soon he can achieve it remains to be seen but at age 22 he is still growing and gaining in experience, an exciting prospect indeed. Jonatan Christie, 21 years of age, is another one to watch except that both of them are still not too steady and consistent yet. Still, on their day, they can upset any of the top few best players on the planet, as they've proven recently. Best part is they have the advantage of youth and time is on their side.
In my opinion, Ginting is the 4th best player in the world. No one beats Momota and ChenLong more often than him last year. and its the big matches against these top players that can decide the Olympic destiny. He still have problems against SYQ though.
His main weakness is his endurance. But he has room to grow, still. Heir to Taufik Hidayat's mantle? Not yet, but we can only let Father Time does his wonders.
