Balance: Even but just ever so slightly head heavy side
    For: Doubles exclusively
Flex: Medium but just ever so slightly on the flexible side
    Budget: Unlimited...within reason
    Level: Low Intermediate

Please recommend me good rackets with those characteristics.

I don‘t think the AX77 falls in the category “ever so slightly head-heavy“. ;)

Sorry, I meant the 4U version... perfect for fast doubles. The 3U would be perfect for singles... as Intanon, Yamaguchi agrees...

Me too, it‘s not super head-heavy or anything, but my slightly hh 3U Li Ning 80TD was faster than the 4U AX77 I had for testing.

Still worth a try for OP, though.

Thanks guys. I might try Astrox 77 since it's newer and easier to find. What is today's equivalent of Lining 80TD...is it 3D Calibar?

3D Calibar 500. 80TD rebranded with a different colour way.

I recommend the Kawaski speeder 660 or the Yonex duora 7.

    best of luck

Hey I’m looking at the 80td and I’m wondering if it’s worth the pick up

Babolat satelite essential or Sotx hb80R (more flexible, more even than the babolat)

Right now I’m looking to upgrade from my Nanoray excel. I’ve been using it for 4 years and I don’t know what racket I should get. I see that the airstream 9td is on sale for 99 cad and the 80td is on sale for 115 cad. The 99td is also an option for 99 cad. I’ve read that the original n99 gives good smashes and that’s what I’m looking for but I don’t know if the 99td is worth the pickup

I don‘t think there‘s a 9TD with Airstream tech. Also I don‘t know the Nanoray Excel, but the 80TD is a really nice even balance racket. For me it‘s better than Arc11 in almost all departments. It may be a little slower but the rest is superior.
