Dear all, which shoe would you recommend for me / have experience with? i am currently wearing this http://racquetforce.com/li-ning_AYAN017-3S_badminton_shoes and my foot hurts after games - while playing is perfect (Disclaimer: personal experience do not reflect product quality and note that each individual foot are different). In fact, I like this shoes except the insole cause my pain - i believe) Below are my requirements. - Wider at front foot area (usually i have brasion on sides of big toe & small toe with other badminton shoes) - Not overly hard insole which could cause pain at between med to end foot - just before the ball) - dryness & lightness are lesser priorities than comfort & protection - cost will not be a factor when choosing. PS: 1) willing to try other recommendation but kindly stick to Yonex / Victor badminton shoes 2) Fine with initial discomfort till shoes break in after few sessions.

Get the SHB03Z on a phasing out price if you can, or else the Eclipsion Z. 03Z is super roomy. No break in period at all from the start. Plug and play. Wear and go. If insole is an issue simply swap out the stock one for others. No problems there.
Dont know which shoe you're coming from, however, from my experience, the Comfort ZW/65ZW were not as cushiony as the 65W I had. I believe a few others have said the same. No experience with the Eclipsion Z though. I'm currently wearing the LN Ranger 2.0 and find it more cushiony and wider in the forefoot area than 65W. They are about 340g per shoe. The Ranger 3.0 actually just released this month and it as a new midsole (Light Foam and LN Cloud). Reviewers said it is more cushiony than the 2.0.
Just updated. Am wearing http://racquetforce.com/li-ning_AYAN017-3S_badminton_shoes Caused pain after game but while playing (perhaps didnt focus), is perfect. My foot do not suit the insole / shoes, and so far didnt read bad review on the mentioned. ^^ Considering new shoes or insole. ^^ *Latetest* Found out that I am flat-footed and got new shoes (stability + wide model). Now no more pain.
