Mixed Doubles saw the return to form of Malaysia’s Chan Peng Soon and the injury-troubled Goh Liu Ying. Goh, who had undergone shoulder surgery a few months ago, put her troubles aside in the opening tournament of the new season as she and Chan made their way past local pair Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Puttita Supajirakul, 21-15 14-21 21-16. Congratulations for your winning comeback!
they looked really good in that game ....but in their game against the Hong Kong pair seemed to taken 2 steps back now.. especially CPS crazy serves

@Cheung come and see GLY this afternoon at Purple League 2017/18 Finals : Puchong United BC vs Kepong BC (4 p.m.) 4. XD : Tan Kian Meng/Goh Liu Ying vs Goh Soon Huat/Cheah Yee See http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...D0343CB-519A-41DD-A3A7-0E66BF0AAC26&match=219
A nice photo taken during their semifinal match against Wang Zekang/Li Yinhui at 2018 Australian Open. They won straight games 21-16, 25-23.
These two seem to be going the way of TA/LN where GLY doesn’t have the movement to keep up anymore. Without her in control of the net, CPS’s terrible service game sink them fast.

Not so surprising really. However, Misbun made a comment that somehow MAS players usually matures a bit after going professional. Maybe because they are breaking away from their safe spot. On a final note, I hope they can do better in the future.
Certainly didn’t see that coming. I thought that Chin Chai reply, as reported in the news, seemed rather harsh. https://www.thestar.com.my/sport/ba...-soon-liu-yings-departure-from-national-team/
maybe it sounds harsh due to his honesty. if bam signs off on all bwf tournament entries it's a win-win for both parties. well, as long as gly/cps can find $pon$or$
