Actually HBJ and CYF were unlucky, it's an accidence. They were slipped on the court. CM actually plays not too much this year. Just Minion and TTY are overload, I think. (because they played many final match = go to the end of the tournament). But I agree, the schedule is so many, especially the interval of 2 consecutive tournaments is just 2 days off. It can be 4 days off or more. And players have to move from nation to another nation in 2 days off.
If they're at their best I simply don't see anyone beating li/liu in this kind of hall, their attack are just too powerfull and their defense are good enough to withstand the attack of the opponent. if only lee/yoo never retired, gonna be interesting how they handle this chinese pair in this kind of hall.
Now that MD match is ended, I have a couple of questions: 1. What makes a hall slow. I thought it's a matter of the shuttlecock. 2. The spectators shots by the camera, they look much brighter than they actually are. This reminds me of Google Pixel night mode camera. I'm just interested I think, on how they produce the footage. Special camera maybe?
If my memory serves me right, Goh Liu Ying is the only one on record to say she likes the new BWF tournament structure requirements with its crowded schedule, but I can't recall her reasons given for it.
Okay this is getting too complicated, couldn't figure out what Steen was saying. So regardless the results of these 2 matches, Wang/Huang are going to SF. And the rest.. still have chances?
I just watch court 2 and he mention gloria is "sukamuljo like", probably after intercepting at the net.
they're not that bad..... just probably butt-hurt... some of them lost equivalent of 8 bs12 apparently
That clears strategy to hdp are actually pretty effective, idk why they challenging wang/huang in the flat game again.
You see, you've posted your questions for more than 30 minutes and nobody offers an answer. I can only point you to the relevant BWF statute, Section 5.3.4 - Specs for Int'l Standard Facilities.pdf, which I've posted yesterday on the same topic, particularly regarding venue height, lighting, air movement, temperature and shuttles. Here https://system.bwfbadminton.com/doc...3.4 - Specs for Int'l Standard Facilities.pdf So the question to be asked is, if the playing conditions in the Tianhe Gymnasium is (that) 'slow', whatever that means to the speaker/complainant, would BWF have approved its use if any of the facilities provided failed to meet the specifications laid out in the said statute ? That means, when someone says the playing hall is so slow or whatever, they are purely expressing a personal opinion as to their preference or otherwise, a subjective claim if they don't specifically state what they mean, technically.
A quick explanation is because of physics When fluid (gas or liquid) becomes colder, it becomes denser and hot fluid becomes less dense when it is hotter It is similar to the phenomena of sea and land breezes With higher density, the distance between particles (in this case gas particles) are smaller. Have you ever gone to the ball pit? With more particles, it becomes more difficult to get through it Similar on how the shuttlecock becomes slower on denser air However, density does not only influenced by temperature, but also by the moisture content, air current, gradients of concentration and etc. Should ask proper physician or meteorologist on the actual correlation between all of them
fact remains everyone says it's slow... including the players.... if li/liu needed 5 smashes to kill a shuttle vs their opponent INSIDE the double backline or even at half court ... then you know something.is damn wrong
