I think the pronunciation of the player's names was just about perfect. It wasn't the names of the players on court, mind you, but some players somewhere on the planet surely have names like that. :D

Agree with gill, I like it when the hall is slow...but not this slow, clearing to each other in MD ? I hate it even when minions did it.

There have to be a middle ground between this super slow court and a so-fast-court the point ends only with 4-5 shots.

Sunzi implied it, including other ways of that happening. Pyrrhic victory is another way of describing it. I think Charles de Gaulle also said something to that effect.

What the hell! Lots of players got injured. Before WTF, CM and HBJ are already injured. And, now, Minions, TTY, CYF are also injured. If I should say, BWF is the one to blame for such a busy schedule this year. Pity for the injured players.

This is bullshit. It is never good for the sport if the top players are not at their best, especially if the top players get injured.

    Can LiJunhui smash like yesterday?

Wonder why these 2 pairs even play a rubber game.

No, they are not injured. They just don't want to risk losing to their rivals so they withdrew or retired according to some people

This is madness. It's becoming like gladiator battles rather than badminton matches.

Is he the same Canadian umpire yesterday that faulted Liu Yuchen for double hitting ?

That knee looks bad to me, I don't think he can play tomorrow. If they quit the tournament now Han/Zhou will get into semi-finals?

I won't be surprised if Li/Liu had to withdraw tomorrow or later.

Well such a shame AND waste if Li/Liu don't get to play tomorrow. Perfect chance to convert win against Gideon/Sukamuljo into a title in the biggest WT tournament. That knee injury did look rather bad.
