CQC was able to win because she played 2 disciplines and with aplomb too.

Dont know what happen to her this year...

Years ago when Owi/Butet were still around and kicking ass I didn't hear anyone look down on the XD discipline. Now with CHN dominates it suddenly is a useless discipline..

TaiTzuYing will definitely win Female player of the year. Too much competition in Womens Double (amongst top jpn) so hard to pick other nominees.

The slot for World Champion made it happen.

Blame Mayu Matsumoto/Wakana Nagahara for being No.3 in Road to Guangzhou instead of overlapping FukuHiro in No.2 Road to Guangzhou.

If you compare this FukuHiro's result and TakaMatsu's result you would notice it's fair enough for them. FukuHiro is left behind in their 4th title (German Open Super 300) plus twice early exits while TakaMatsu got their lowest title at Super 500 tournament (INA Masters Super 500) and just once early exit.

And the one who dominated XD were Zhang Nan/Zhou Yunlei of all.

TakaMatsu will be qualified if they attend Syed Modi Super 300 next week and they will need to play at least 1 round.
