After watching this match I remembered what coach Herry IP said about Kevin/Marcus, he said that their strongest forte is not their speed or technique, but their mental solitude to always try and never give up no matter how far they are left behind, I think its something that LYD is still missing despite his world class technique.
Yes dont give up and push till the end. Till really lost and beaten. Thay way, they will have no regrets.
Kevin must've been nervous, as he was burdened with his curiousity of how to end his losing streak against LYD. Somehow, I like the current Minions better. They have more shot varieties, better defense & are quicker in adapting with their opponents' playing style. We create our own happiness
Uhmm...I don't know about that. I think LYD are mentally strong aswell. some tough matches that I remember him won it in the end despite trailling most of the time (BAC Final 2015 vs ahsan/hendra, Dubai Final 2014 vs chai/hong)
Kevin looks tensed too, but at least he could handle it, and still playing really well. not the same thing with gideon, idk how many errors he make before the mid interval of game 1 alone.
Not sure how Kevin looks tense.. Look at how he sense the tenseness of Lee and just flick him at point 19 after he makes 2 errors. Sometimes when we watch always wonder how he got this feel. Remind me in AG 2014 Final it was 17-17 against AhsanHendra and Lee just got nervous.
So if minions in fit and better form, they could have won with shorter rallies. but doing great to be defensive if not for the umpire interrupted haha
