When Chen Long, The Dragon, closed the deficit of 17-14 to 17-17 in G3 of the Semi-Final, I thought Rio Olympics Chen Long is back but then he gifted the next 4 points to Momota and I am thinking now that it's same Old Chen Long of 2018.
I believe he is back to the most of his best abilities (as we say his Rio form): a) didn’t hold back from counter attack whenever situation demanded, b) ready to pounce on the opponent’s tight spinning net shot, c) retrieving from improbable positions Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Liu/Zhang took G1. Don't know what to make of this match yet. I don't think Kevin has settled down yet but LC did well so far.
Looks like ZN/LC have a game plan that appears to counter the minions, at the moment. Let's see how the minions respond in G2... Sent from my MI 6 using Tapatalk
At Rio'16, Chen Long was even better, much sharper, forceful and focused, the only blip was when he dropped G2 to Son Wan Ho before stamping his authority in the 3rd set, the rest of the opponents, he more or less swept aside in commanding fashion, including LCW. I'd suggest you watch the ROG videos (again) to convince yourself.
