Oh my, this is making me nostalgic. It's been a few long years since Korea has been associated with top level MD.

An amazing quality match, something that I really miss in these days. Glad to see all of them back, even though not match fit.

True, but LYD's defence keep working until the very end. KGJ needs to learn to play better and cut his mistakes.
    Nice doggo there.

Well the opponents need to learn to not attack LYD soon. Why do they never learn?
I liked how SBC did at the net on this closer end. Drifts that bad?

Today's match message : Yonex is better than Apacs? :D

Very impressed by the evergreen 38-yr-old Lee Hyun Il, winning a full five-round tournament albeit at WTS300 level is no mean feat . Congratulations, excellent job. Salute him.

Korea won men's category crown through their independent players, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Canada earn one title each. It's rare to see KOR representatives top podium in BWF tournaments post Rio OG 2016 as they're really struggling to build formidable new generation squad.

Second Super 300 title for Lee YD/Kim GJ duet after Spanish Masters, close contest between the comeback KOR prominent pairs to complete final match, Lee YD/Kim GJ prevail despite trailed behind 6-11 at deciding game to edge out former World Champion Ko SH/Shin BC, 21-19. Earlier on final day witnessed the aging Lee Hyun Il outmaneuvered his much younger opponent Zhou Zeqi who looked nervous and helpless, couldn't find the answer how to anticipate Lee shots, a lopsided final affair although Zhou showed stiff resistance in second game.

Losing opening set narrowly, the experienced Michelle Li bounced back to find her rhythm to overcome Chinese teenager Han Yue in longest match of final day that sapping much energy with many long rallies involved, 75 minutes of play. Mixed doubles world number four Tang CM/Tse YS show their class to demolish Lee CH/Chau HW, 21-14 / 21-15. Malaysian promising duo Vivian Hoo/Yap CW are surprising winner here, beating higher-ranked Japanese WD Aratama/Watanabe in two straight-games, they reject the match going into third games, 16-20 down then took six straight points to clinch the title.

Oh how I missed amazing MD rallies like we saw today. Both pairs still need some time to reach their peak, but I will be watching MD a little more closely these days.
