What's the difference between N,TD and TF.
Is it only the flex, string tension limit and paint job

As a result of using cheaper grades of carbon/materials probably, which may also mean less 'technology', if that technology is related to the material involved.

Hi, am an intermediate player I have had back and shoulder pain for a long time and have just been relieved by training sessions. I currently use arcsaber fd which was necessary during my period of pain and it's strung @22 lbs with Li Ning no.1. I could barely produce any power with this racket so am planning to change to a head heavy 4u racket with medium flex. My current options are:
    1.li Ning 7 II TF ($92)
    2.li Ning air stream 99 TD ($88)
    3.Victor jetspeed S 08 (5u). ($91)
    4.Li Ning xiphos x1. ($127)
    5.Victor brave sword 10. ($125)
    6.Li Ning 7 II TD. ($118)

The original N80 (gold and silver) or the N80ii (blue and green)?

the N80 is fairly even balanced, aerodynamic and relatively quick with medium flex (from memory, it has been a while) The VZF2 is extra stiff, head heavy and much slower, completely different rackets with almost nothing in common. The N7ii is a little closer but still head heavier and a little stiffer. The N7ii is a far more suitable replacement than a VZF2

I found the N7ii significantly lighter than the N80. But stiffer, yeah.

The N80ii is quite heavy, yes, and the N80 a bit lighter. I found the N7ii to be much lighter than both. Stiffer (at least than the N80), but lighter. I have experience and own lots of N80ii, and have tested the N9ii and N7ii thoroughly ;)

Thank you! For doubles, I believe that N7ii will be the best choice, then

it's a great doubles racket. It has been my choice since it came out. Be sure to check out the Aeronaut 7000 as well.

I'd personally make this decision based on stiffness, not weight, as the N80 is definitely not too heavy for doubles. The N70 is much more forgiving and easier to use.

    Welcome to the pack, N80II!

For the spec enthusiasts in here (with original grip, unstrung):

So clearly the heaviest beast in the bag at the moment.

The only thing I can't get my head around is that 72-holes oldschool pattern in such a high-end racket. And I was quite surprised that it has such a high top cross. There was practically zero distance left to pass my top support plus load spreader:

Even the JS10 leaves a tiny tad more space in between.
