Hey, I love LCW. Everytime I read or see him get his world no.1 title back after the ban(all time career low) or winning titles in his mid 30's fighting shoulder- to -shoulder with the fast & young and best of the best I get a boost of motivation & energy. So what would I do if I get nasal cancer ? Simple - I will fight tooth & nail and try to acheive what was next on the list. If not, I will make sure someone else does for my country. Cheers.
I cry everytime i think of my greatest idol... PLEASE. I really hope he wins BWC2019 and Tokyo 2020... but, health comes first, and I'm relieved he's recovered from nose cancer. FInally good news! let's hope this is a sign of good things to come...
Seriously, he has been saying that he wanted his privacy. Can't people/media let him and his family be for a while until he is ready.
https://www.thestar.com.my/sport/ba...ia-after-treatment-for-nose-cancer-in-taiwan/ This article says that he returned already
a few days after LCW left Taipei,.. In the same city, Lee Zii Jia stepped up and won the Taiwan Open.. i hope that,s a good sign
At least LCW is in a fine and stable condition as of now. Whether he will ever play again, is his decision.
LCW's face almost like his older brother, slim like (censored)... dunno whether he can get back to Hulk's body or not
LCW slimmed down a lot, his puffy cheeks gone. If he's decided to return to competition, I believe we 'll see him in action earliest in March next year, the All England (?). I doubt he'll be ready to play the MAS Masters WTS500 in January, the GER Open WTS300 end February is possible as a warm-up for the AE the week after, I think.
Well, I wonder if BWF were going to fine him for being absent in too many tournaments That new rule of obligatory participation from BWF has done more damage to the top players rather than making the sports more interesting, for me at least.
I doubt that LCW will be fined. BWF can't fine a player if a player is clearly injured or has some kind of disease.
If he were he could easily sue them I'm sure. Players only get fined if they miss the necessary number of tournaments despite being able to play them, which he clearly wasn't...
