N7II comes for me very close to the JS10. According to the specs the N90IV is medium and I want something stiffer than the N7II, not more flexible. 80TD seems pricewise interesting but 72 holes, medium shaft and 12kg max. tension make it not attractive for me. I'm looking for something more towards N99 stiffness.

The N90IV is one of the stiffest LN‘s I‘ve ever tried. On par with the N99, imo.

Attacking player, smasher, control minded. Why not try a n9ii?

Gave it a short try. Very close to the N7II. Slightly more head heavy, slightly more flexible. This won't work for me. Would choose N7II over N9II. I don't have the feel that I would get lucky with LN. The N90IV is on the discontinued list of Li-Ning. Will get a problem in 2 years to get one. So I need to pick something new or coming...

Yonex seems not very tempting. Had a conversation with @Mr Arc2. I will not go for any Astrox. Duo 8XP seems to turn out stiffer, maybe stiffer than Duo ZS? Any reports. If 8XP is stiffer, I need to dismiss it.

Victor seems interesting for me. Especially the Auraspeed-Range. Atm I still play the JS10's and N7II and love it while I hate it. No need to hurry. I will try my JS10Q with lower tension, if it turns out more playable for me, I wait what comes and see.

There's a racket with a different name that inofficially replaces the N90IV, but it's basically the same racket. Don't worry about that.

That would be the 3D Calibar 900B.

I think the N90 IV (red) is the 900C specifically.

I wouldn't have a clue. I thought the 900C wasn't a repaint of any old versions, although the specs suggest something similar to the N90III.

    No, actually it's the 3D Calibar 900B.
    1. LN officially replaced the n90iv with it
    2. It's legitimately the exact same racquet with a different name. Rebranded if you will.

900, 900C are totally different racquets and are no n90iv

    I'm a broken record.... OTL

Oh hey it's the B. Yeah from what I gather, the letter indicates more than a repaint now which makes it very confusing overall. Thanks for clarifying which one it is.

Oh oops.. I totally meant the 900B not 900... I was thinking about the 900B whilst typing 900.. The 900 is a 4U racquet.. I knew that too!

One just has to love Li-Ning for introducing that new naming scheme! What else would be we talking about if the hadn't? The actual new rackets like Calibar 900 or 900C?

@ucantseeme As you like the N7 II, I thought I might give this an ask. Got anything you recommend that's similar to the N7 II with better feeling? I'm happy with the balance and flex, but it just doesn't feel as full as some of my other rackets.

What other rackets feel fuller than N7ii?
Wondering if it's a case of dampening with brands or box vs aero frames.

It's likely frame profile. I felt the N80 was number than box frame rackets too. The AX77 feels very solid.

I've come to the same conclusion as well.
I've tried a Gosen Inferno Ex, which felt very similar to N7ii. Both are aero frames and stiff.

I agree. There's something about LN hex frames that just makes them feel "hollow" when hitting.

    Current status:

Played ZFII 4U, AX88S 4U, TK-F 4U and N99 again. AX88S 4U is too light for me(feels nearly like a FB), ZFII 4U plays good for overheads but is not what I'm looking for because not fast enough and little bit too stiff. TK-F played well, but the head is too big and it lacks in feel. N99 strung at my prefered tension for tomorrow, but I dislike this chunky thingy.

I stick atm with JS10 4U. The Q turned out better playable at the moment. Maybe due my physio. N7II still in the bag, but hard too choose it over JS10. Biggest hope is in the AURA90S...then 70K.

Li-Ning don't have the new racket here out...without getting my hands on one I'm not very confident that they turn out stiffer than N7II.
