Will be able to compare JS12 original to JS12 M on monday. Just by hand picking JS12 M feels sturdier, don’t know how to explain…
My experience with js12 v js12m was the same. My js12m was more stiff and more head heavy than any of the js12 I have had.
Yes. I have two js12m. It's a little stiffer, head heavier and the frame is more sturdy than the original lime color . But it's a little slower. Have anyone tried the new Auraspeed 70k?
i don't expect the first Auraspeed in the range to be as fast as a Jetspeed 10. Remember, initially we had Jetspeed 8 PS and ST, followed by Jetspeed 9 and then Jetspeed 10. Perhaps the mysterious black racket currently being used by Goh V Shem will be the answer ? Paul
Tried JS12 M yesterday right after JS12 OC. Same strings (BG80 @26), 4UG5, same grip. 12M seems to be a little stiffer but it may be because it is a little lighter. On my scale JS12 M weights 89gr, JS12 OC 91gr with the same configuration. Or maybe because my JS12 M is new and the break-in period is not over. My other JS12 M strung with BG65 at 26lbs weights 91gr with same grip configuration, but haven’t played with yet. In game, not much difference, but as it is my first session of the new season my timing is quite off for now
I agree with you for JS10Q, seems harder, head heavier and less manoeuveurable than the JS10 OC that I got... to me it lost its dna
One thing that I like about BS12 is that the QC seems really good. Got three of them in my bag, all from Victor Europe, all of them strung the same way (BG80 around 12kg), all of them with the same overgrip, and they are all 94gr. Quite an achievement when knowing Victor legendary bad QC
Brother you got bloody lucky. I've yet to ever experience that and I've probably run through around a hundred rackets from Victor.. I don't even get such good results on running serial numbers. Sent from my LG-H930 using Tapatalk
Yes it seems I was lucky… Maybe the ones that are DE coded are cherry picked to be quite in the same weight range?
Yeah does sound like luck of the draw. But consistent overall weight is not hard to achieve. There is a small mass in size the handle that can adjust the overall weight and balance point artificially, so it can be tweaked to what they need it to be. The difficulty is getting the actual head weight, feel and stiffness consistent. I've had quite a few BS12 and although admittedly they were better than the BS11, there was still quite a difference between some of the ones I've had. Some were quite head light whereas others were quite head heavy. But in comparison to the BS11 it was noticeably better. The BS11 was just ridiculous. Not only the balance but the feel was different. The balance was by far the worst thing though, with some so headheavy, it was literally a different racquet although visually you couldn't tell.
I do not know what the L for my BS12L stands for. And I think I read an N version too? What does that stand for? Thanks in advance.
The majority of users say: BS12 blue: classic version, med stiff, even balance BS12L: cherry picked BS12 that are a little flexier and tiny G6 grip BS12N: new color scheme, seems to be a little stiffer that the OC Currently playing with BS12 blue: to me, a dream racquet, unbelievable maneuvrablity with good power for its specs Played 5 years ago with BS12N, seemed stiffer and less head heavy
