i use my mp66 for doubles play and i find it very versatile, easy to use up front, but also gives enough power if forced back. and since its headlight, very good for defence too.

ur not totally wrong there. when i play with the 66, i feel the same thing sometimes. the hits sometimes feel empty and has no power, but ive gotten used to it. i think its like that because it is a flexible racket compard to others.

well, good luck on finding the rite racket for urself...

If you don't mind getting used racket I have a few to sell you.

    Ti-7 3U $40 used once like new
Ti-Swing power SX $50 like new
Ti-10 3U $70 like new but not recommended
    AT800 DE 3U $80

Prices only for students. San Francisco or Golden Gate Badminton Club pickup.

Sorry if this post seems to be in the wrong section. I am just trying to help.

Yes, only if you are a student in need for a quality racket. I also have a MP90 JP 3U that might fit Green Apple. I offered someone in Marketplace $80 but will take $70 if the buyer is a student.

Whoa, that sounds so awesome! Unfortunately I'll have to decline -- there's no way I can get to San Francisco. But thanks for the offer. :)

Okay, I take that back. Is there any way you can put the AT800 DE on hold for me? I'd like to test out my friend's AT800 first. If it goes well, which it most likely will :p, can I pick up the racket this friday?

BTW, what condition is the AT800 in? Sorry, but $80? It sounds unbelievable.

I will play at Golden Gate Badminton Club ( Menlo Park ) this Friday night. The AT800 DE is 3UG5, 9 months old and in very good condition. There are 2 small paint chips. The original grip is covered by a replacement grip. Racket was restrung recently with Gosen Pro66. You guys or gals can try out my rackets if we meet there. Btw, don't overlook the Ti-7 lite. That's a good racket too.

mp 66, head light balance, flexy shaft, good for defense, and more power to weak arm players

Yes, I'm trying to get my hands on one :p and see if it's okay. Who knows, maybe results will be different from the other one I tried out.

Hello, I go to Pioneer High, which is pretty close to ST. If you are willing to spend the money, i would suggest buying a AT800 DE. I would also suggest buying the racket on ebay from sum93 or w/e if you do not get it from anyone here. He is recommended by many BFers as a someone who sells genuine rackets.

i want to buy that soooo bad, but i dont have an account and am 1 year short of being able to make one :crying:
i was gonna ask my parents, but i know they dont want me to spend 130 + s&h on another racket.

green_apple- do you go to open gyms? if we go to the same ones, u can try my MP66 if u want. :)

Thanks for the link. I just bought the racket. :D

This morning, I had a chance to try out my friend's AT800 DE and I loved it. It was a 4U, G4, and he only had it for about a month. (Of course, I just HAD to go and put a scratch on it. :() I love the manuverability and the power, and wow, it was just amazing. One drawback was that I felt the grip was a little too big for me. Compared with my other Wilson racket, the grip was definitely smaller, but it didn't feel so comfortable. Good thing the eBay racket is a G5.

I wasn't going to spend about $150 (inc. stringing) on a racket, but this one feels worth it. I'm all smiles right now. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Now to go shopping for proper badminton shoes. Hehe, it's like Christmas in July! :D

I usually go only to my school open gyms when I get the chance, as they're not very consistent. Thanks for the offer though. :)

Shipping & handling was under $5 to San Jose.
