Japan is indeed the weakest among those 3 countries mentioned earlier. Remember they even almost got defeated by a rookie team like German in the group stage.

Agree. But I expect it to go down to 5th match where the uncertainty level is pretty high. Expecting Thai to prevail though

I think the choice is between Dinar/Ruselli H2H vs. Pornpawee.
The 2nd WD pair is going to be a pair from any combo of: Della, Rizki, Ni Ketut.

INA only has fighting chance in both WDs and 2nd WS. The rest is clearly THA advantage. I rated Pompawee much better than Dinar/Ruselli

2nd WS: GMT? 1 & 2nd WS are not going to have fighting chance at all vs. RI, Nitchaon, Busanan.
Fitriani and Gregoria won't be able to win for sure against any of the top 3 THA WS above.

Pompawee is the 4th WS. Whichever you look at it, all INA WS won't win if 3 THA WS above are playing today.

Yes 2nd WS and yes I mean GMT, who knows, she's in currently in good form. beating both GJW and GFJ in straight sets is clearly a great results. From 3 WS ties against THA I think 2nd WS is the most possible for INA to win. 1st WS need miracle, 3rd WS very slim chance, both Pompawee / Busanan still too good for Dinar / Ruseli

What is the target for Uber Cup team as projected by Susi by the way?

probable logic : They want to prevent their live chat box to be over flooded and bombarded with spites and verbal wars.

GMT has beaten Busanan several times actually. Dont remember if she has met Nitchaon at all though

It's good for FRA & CAN, so their matches are on television. We should let them first in this case.

    We're welcoming them here...

    China vs Taipei really interesing.

Imo all the matches are 60-40 chance for China. anything can happen.

Will they field ChenLong as MS1?

On the side, I think Both Indonesia and Malaysia would accept facing each other, good to avoid Taipei for Ina/ Japan for Malaysia

Err, the same logic why top seeded JPN vs TPE's Uber Cup Quarter-Final is not on a TV Court... because everyone is sure INA will win?

INA is definitely not 100% sure win ..... they have slight advantage vs MAS and i would say even chance vs THA

    we shall see soon enough

I do hope Canada can create an upset by defeating Korea, but seems like it is a tall order...

Not that logic I think. How 'bout Korea vs Canada for Uber QF then?

It should be all countries have at least 1 QF match in TV (either Court 1 or 2). And the quota is 3 of 4 will be on TV court, 1 other isn't.

Maybe TanWeeKiong should be rested. Its better to introduce scratch pairing against 2 indonesia MD.

I just think it's very peculiar that we get full coverage of the UC but only half coverage of TC... they should broadcast Court 3 as well...

The rate is equal between Thomas Cup or Uber Cup , 3 of 4 QF matches are on TV Court.

    They're about 75%
