Finally!! Now we know how hard it is to score just the ONE point at game point. Kholik had like what, 10 or more game points gone before he finally got it?
Who is the Korean coach besides Kang Kyung Jin? Is the woman coach that usually coaching Son Wan Ho not coaching the mens team this tournament?
That arrogant stare at his opponent from Kholik after hitting the net. I hope he gets beaten pretty badly should they progress.
Nah man, he hit a lucky shot at the net. Even in the heat of the moment, still not acceptable. Forgetting to apologize, very well, but not staring down his opponent and those exaggerated screams. Instant dislike, sorry.
No idea. They probably don't understand that it is so hard to be a short person to not stare up to his opponent in a short distance.
I think that stare is for the backhand block earlier in game 2. That was quite a similar situation so he probably anticipated it might happen again or got reminded of it. Seems like he consider it quite unsporting. To be honest i never really understood when is it allowed or not. Seems really hard to judge too. Just make it legal as long as its on their own side.
He choked game 1 and nearly choked game 2. The coach probably told him to do that to help with his mentality.
If LCW stares down VA today, you are going to wish him bad luck too? Jezzzz Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Was actually rooting for him but after that intimidating stare, I were kinda of F off! I will no longer cheering for you. Also, the double screaming reminded me of Japanese Table Tennis Prodigy Tomokazu Harimoto which can be quite irritating.
I think it's bad sportsmanship from him, as well, yes. He's probably one of the only top players than don't apologize after lucky net shots. And if so, he does it half-hearted before serving.
Third game when he won point 19. He moved forward to stare at his opponent across the net. LCW will never do it to this extend.
Fine. Maybe next time they shouldn't have those close ups scenes after rallies. It's a kill-joy. Never knew sportsman means being pompous and self-righteous.
A disconcerting result for Team CHN Uber Cup to lose both their WS2 and WS3, once again confirming my fear that the whole CHN WS squad here is shaky, who among them is worst a matter of degree. I suppose the CHN coaches, Xia XZ and Zhang Ning are feeling the heat and could be facing a dilemma about whether to give He Bingjiao another chance to redeem herself. What choices have CHN got? Might as well just throw a dice and hope for the best. No doubt, Chen Yufei won convincingly today but I should think that's because she managed to keep a healthy lead in both sets as otherwise the build-up in pressure would've got into her with nerves crippling her game. Personally, I feel Team CHN Uber Cup has to learn not to take things too seriously and let the weight of the burden of expectation bear down too had on them. Just do your utter best but learn to relax a little and enjoy the process as well. OTOH, kudos to Gregoria Mariska for adopting the right strategy against Gao Fangjie by limiting her attacking chances, keeping the shuttle down as much as possible, and taking the initiative as often as possible, so much so that GFJ couldn't get her game going the way she'd like to. Russelli Hartawan deserves praise too for her perseverance and grit determination against Li Xuerui who's clearly far from her former best yet as her vulnerabilities were exposed as the match wore on, particularly in G2 and G3 despite clinching G1.
