I'm sure that the Asuncion siblings will give it their best shot. Also, the english pair will want to put on a good show, specially for the local audience.

CHANCE? Maybe not but probbly a good game. at least for the gallery

if the tandem of Nathan and Emms will take it seriously, I don't think the Asuncions will even have a 20% chance of winning.
I'll root for the Asuncions though :D

I'd say even less than 20%. If I were an odd-maker, and assuming Emms and Robertson take it seriously, I would take the bet only if I get a +10. And that's really pushing it.. no offense intended to the Asuncions..

    Spare me the criticism

I can't believe the article lines in today's papers about the Asuncions' match vs. Robertson/Emms yesterday:
    "Asuncions fall short vs Britons"
    "Gritty Asuncions lose steam"

I know the home crowd was hoping for an upset in the results, but pitting #24 vs #1 is asking for much. What's important is that they played well. Even Robertson and Emms praised the way the siblings battled it out yesterday. It's unfair that local journalists portray their effort so poorly.:(

For the edification of our non-filipino brethren, what Pball said roughly translates to- "It's as if you're not familiar with people from here [the Philippines]"

Which is another way of saying Filipinos can often have a very negative outlook on the accomplishments of people other than themselves, even towards those of their fellow Filipinos.
