She wanted to have some cheap racket and didn't care. Now, she knows she'll be here longer, so she brought her real rackets to Germany.

I punched her very gently, because she's a very nice girl (now that she's back on her TI 4). :D

Ordered an Astrox 77 from DirectBadminton, selected free restringing service with AS at 24lbs (I wanted to be lazy, get a racket and just use it that night, rather than string it myself.

    badstrings.jpg

Ended up having to restring it anyway.

Never chance it with an unknown stringer... we're too spoiled by Eric @ RKEP or Winston @ MBS.

I was pretty sure if I played on it, the knot would've pulled through very quickly.

Looks like a single half hitch. I just trust god, my own jobs and the ones from a HK based Victor stringer. No other would touch my rackets. But ordering Aerosonic from a not approved stringer is like running blindfold a red light and wondering about an accident. What about the starter?

    Just found this on Google.

I'm trying to figure out how they've produced that slant at the top. I can't find a missing string.

I bet money on TTY winning, so I would not like her to take any chances. I have lost some when she wielded TKF.

    "Hi there

I purchased a racket from your store a couple of weeks back and used the free restring option with it.

I chose Aerosonic, and the stringing felt good overall, but unfortunately I had to cut and restring the racket before I even got it on court. One of the knots had almost completely sunken into the grommet, and I was pretty sure it would’ve pulled through if I’d hit with the racket at all. You can just about see the tail poking out of the grommet in the attached image.

I’m not after anything for free or anything like that, I just wanted to give you guys a heads up that this can happen with Aerosonic if the knot isn’t quite big. I hope this feedback is useful for you.

    Kind regards,
    Charlie"

I think I upset their stringer, because this is the complimentary string I received.

I don't think they were pissed when they sent you the string. I think they pulled it off a reel.

Maybe I expect too much, whenever I've bought or sold string it's always been cable tied, even if off the reel.

At least they sent another set even if you had to unravel.

I bought an x-speed from them recently and chose the unstrung option with string supplied. It came loose in a bag just like that, so I'd say that's standard for them.

Never had a decent stringing job from a UK retailer so would always go for the DIY option.

I had one of my rackets strung and I noticed quite too late that a small stretch of the mains string wasn't weaved. It's the 2nd piece of string to the right from the center. Would there be any problem to this? Also, the stringer did a 4 knots but I thought that it was kind of odd that 3 of the knots are all at the top of the string bed.
