I think it's the cone code. It says 169090SP. First 5 digit normally is DDMMY (Date of production), which means that the racket is produced in the year 2009 (There is no Astrox in 2009). Also the month is 90, an invalid month.

No close up photo. If the counterfeit manufacturer copy the genuine cone code and serial number, I won't be able to tell. Let's cross fingers they dont see this message.
Like i said before, this exercise is quite pointless if the basis for trying to identify fake rackets rests only on the usual cone code/serial# thingies. Fakers can just do as what carb said and still get away with it. There has to he some more distinct features or identifiers on the rackets that only area 51 knows Sent from my SM-J320F using Tapatalk

cone code and serial number are the easy one, besides that, cone code fonts, engraving method, butt cap fonts can be used as well but you need to provide good quality close up photos. Other than that, on physical racket, wooden handle, the back of butt cap, grommets, and weight balance are more complicated way of checking. So far the best fake (high quality fake) i ever see is correct cone code, correct serial, correct fonts, correct butt cap but incorrect engraving method. Yonex has an unique 3 steps laser engraving process that so far it is still remain unbreachable.
