This doesn't look like complete. What about others like VT1, VTLD3, VTLD9, VTLD100 / 200, VT80 (classic, just to name a few.)? There should be a better chart than like this.
Need some experience hand for advice here. I have NS9900 and NS9000. NS9900 has sufficient power but i am unable to handle when come to defence, simply because it is slightly heavy for me, i am too slow. NS9000 is very fast but too light , at times baseline to baseline can be a challenge when foot work is not there. Need some advice, where does these two racket stand in the chart sot that i roughly know what to look out for to replace my racket.
Those are already good rackets for defence. Easiest is to try changing to more powerful strings. Like G-Tone 5, Zymax 62 F. What string and tension you currently use? Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
They never show low end rackets. Different strings can definitely change the head weight. I can feel the difference between BG80 and No.1 on a racket.
Thanks so much for your speedy reply. I do like the NS9900 a lot . I am asking because I broke one of my two NS9900 recently, now i am left with one. I need a spare NS9900 equivalent, so am wondering what is a racket that is faster than NS9900 for my standard yet will not be too light like the NS9000. My string is Ultimax 66 at 26 lbs. 26lbs on the NS9900 is just nice but a little too hard on the NS9000 because of its light weight. Ever tried reduce to 25lbs on NS9000 but dont like the low tension. Tried a Victor JS 12. it is way way too light though it is a very very fast racket. It is even much lighter (or at least it is very much faster) than the NS9000. The racket i am looking for is very light --- light --- medium light --- Medium Victor JS12 -- NS9000 --- my preference --- NS9900
I'm thinking you should try out 4U Astrox 77 or 4U Astrox 88D. Fast yet powerful. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Thanks Visor. Just amended my post. please help take a look at my comparison of the three rackets and correct my perception if I am wrong. I will look at Astrox 77 4U once you confirm my amendments. Much appreciated.
like to ask the experience hands here. 1. saw the new Astrox 99, so where would it stand based on the racket chart ? 2. some rackets have 4U and 3U, so take for example, Astrox 88S has a position in the racket chart, is that referring to 3U or 4U? If it is for 3U , then where should 4U be in the chart ? it may sound too academic , it is for my own understanding. thanks.
There you go. IMO it's pretty accurate. The overall weight of the racquet theoretically should be irrelevant to the position of the racquet on the matrix. This is because 3U or 4U should not change the feeling of the racquet besides overall weight differences (as in, there should be just less weight everywhere throughout the racquet). However, this is not always the practical case.
