I know but Youtube chat doesn't give you sense of crowd and it's bad overall. While on Twitch when something amazing is happened everyone is posting "PogChamp" emotes and if something funny happened everyone is posting "LUL", etc. It gives you feeling of being in a crowd. Also Twitch livestreams got more views.
They do have Thomas & Uber Cups team. However, they are lower-ranked class B country. This Thomas Cup & Uber Cups in Thailand are for class A countries teams. USA is class B country. https://www.teamusa.org/USA-Badmint...ams-head-to-semifinals-in-Trinidad-and-Tobago USA is a lower class team and they play in different Championship.
INA Thomas Cup team is facing uphill battle vs. Thai and again Korea. Thai have Rexy and Rexy knows INA's strengths and weaknesses. I am wary of THAI's third single, Kantaphon. He can make surprises vs. Ihsan.
In the draw video. He was interviewed in the session directly after the draw, which still being streamed
Good idea The only time it should be closed is when INA vs MAS, or Minions vs Uncles. The chat will be war
Definitely, he's taking part to the ongoing Vietnam IC for one goal, to upgrade his WR as soon as possible. As third singles player, Momota couldn't do too much in last month BATC as his team was already losing 0-3. World Ranking dates to decide ranking order of singles and doubles is 3rd May 2018.
Although no rationale was given for the statement, in his blog, Masuda Keita (Japan National Team Coach) did not consider Japan's draw in the Thomas Cup to be particularly bad. @indrg Yes, Momota Kento will represent Japan! And he said that he wants to take the Cup!!
The only way to be first MS for Mamota is in 2018 Badminton Asia Championships. No more high points tournament left before the date line May 3, 2018. I think it's fair enough to be second MS at the end (at least a guarantee to be fielded at some critical ties).
It doesn't work like that. USA could play at Thomas & Uber Cup Finals IF they manage to be champion at Pan America qualification. Canada won both men's team & women's team at 2018 Pan Am Men's & Women's Team Championships. USA lost against Canada at the final stage of 2018 Pan Am Men's & Women's Team Championships (serve as Thomas & Uber Cups Continental Pan America Qualifying Rounds). So, Canada get the slots for Thomas & Uber Cup Finals.
It's personal opinion, BWF also wrote news article to describe Thomas Cup Group C is group of death => http://bwfthomasubercups.com/news-single/2018/03/22/japan-in-group-of-death/ Team Japan is known to have good mental strength which the most important aspect in team event.
I hope INA uber can have a breakthrough and become runner up defeating MAS. They can with 2 wins in WD and steal one from single. As for INA Men, we hope again at least 1 pt from single and let their MD earn all the points vs THA and Korea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
US team World Ranking not higher enough. Qualification for all World titles (Olympics, World Championships, Uber Cups, Thomas Cups, Sudirman Cups) is determined by the points/ranking you get by playing/winning in the professional world tour/circuit as well as regional events (Asian/Europe/Pan-Am/ etc. Championships). And as pointed out earlier, Canada won the last Pan-Am Team Championships which guarantees them a place -- one reserved for the winner of each regional team championship, regardless of ranking -- despite overall low ranking points.
You should speak to Twitch, not bwf -- the fact that there are so many badminton vids on youtube, but not on Twitch, should tell how popular the sport ACTUALLY is in each platform... Twitch streams being more "discoverable" (which just means the search engine YOU are using is working with Twitch) is meaningless if Twitch viewers are not badminton fans to begin with. BWF prizes are getting bigger, so it seems like sponsors and broadcasters have been seeking out BWF instead of the other way around.
