It's funny how no one mentions that Lin Dan was the only player to push Shi Yuqi to 3 games in the whole tournament including the opening round blues

Even the God of Defence Chen Long, the Hardest trainer in the Chinese Camp, was left clueless losing out 17 and 15 to this young gem,

Lee Hyun Il for all his qualities was at the mercy of the scoreline difference which allowed him to make it respectable but even he lost in straight games.

Technically 10 out of 10, in his Physical Peak, Son Wan Ho, was just hopeless and his technique went out of the window hilariously in the 2nd game when the going got impossible.

Yet, the 34 years and 6 months old Lin Dan was the only one who was able to stop this 'Running Train' called Shi Yuqi and absolutely made him succumb in the 2nd game. I was astonished how much strength and belief in his own ability it takes to even think about equalling a 13 years young opponent, who is physically in another league, trains day in Day out, in his prime, one who is at his absolute best, let alone surpassing him and giving himself a clear chance to start from the scratch once again.

Absolutely mind shattering display of mental strength and Technical Quality by Lin Dan in this final, considering his age and condition to push this match to a deciding Game. Absolutely ridiculous performance if you ask me coz I know at 35....it's not the same as being a 24 year old in his peak, investing every second of the life to training.

I can only salute the ability of Lin Dan to withstand this outstanding Champion with sheer belief when we all say Shi Yuqi was just marauding the shuttle left, right and centre.

But not a single post from so called neutrals in these 110 pages that appreciates the fight which Lin Dan showed today.

What do you expect? This thread even 110 pages, is only 5-11 commenting on daily occasion.
Surely, there must be someone who admires the fight of LD, surely among the audience of All England.

BWF should allow challenges of umpire's decision (eg, fault at the let, touching a player's body)

Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse a umpire decision, no matter how bad it is.
    Unlucky for JPN.
