Hi guys, I just had a quick look at the new racquets. Below is my own feel of the Racquet without any equipment, just by swinging it around ya, so please do not base your purchase on the below gut feel. Hopefully someone with the swing weight machine will be able to weigh the 4U version of 88S and 88D. Stiffness: 88D > 77 > 88S (slightly less) Head heavy: 88D > 77 = 88S (very slightly lighter but unnoticeable, hence I just marked it as equal) 88D HH feels very much like the LD Force. By the way all the above comparison made with 4U units ya. Anyone else can confirm or correct the above observations?
Yes feel pretty much the same comparing AX88D vs LDF 4UG5 version, dimension wise almost identical after stringing, LDF is v slightly HH and noticeable. No AX88S to compare. For 3UG5 88D, it is very HH probably comparable to ZF2 if not more.
if 77 has more stiff than 88S, then 77 could be a better suits for me, as HH level are consider same.
HH, I feel that 88D = 77 and 88S feels more like even balance. I just hold the frame with no strings for all 3 rackets.
earliest i can try is sat, lucky to reserve 1 in 3U coz 3U are mostly sold out at the moment and yeah i too prefer the string grip promo compare to free tees... JB have additional shoe bag and soft racket cover as well to add in the promo
Nah it's fine mate. I made my order from HK. Practically paid the same as street price locally but with strings only. Not a deal breaker to me since I use towel grips anyway. Sent from my LG-H930 using Tapatalk
More swing weight measurements from Racquet Force FB page: The new Astrox 88D & 88S 3U are generating more 89.5kg and 89kg respectively which score relatively high. For 88D & 88S 4U are generating 86kg and 85kg which is acceptable.
From their page looks like 88D is the highest. Tied with n9ii. That's ignoring a lot of racquets though, I think they've only tested and posted a half dozen racquets on their page. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
There was another Chinese badminton forum that actually measured new racket releases with a similar swing weight machine. I can't seem to recall atm. Anyone remember?

I feel like the test is inaccurate. A person with a faster swing will no doubt be able to generate more power using a stiffer racquet compared to one who's swing is slower.
