Also another important note, the S (at 670mm) is 5mm shorter than the D (which is the usual 675mm). This will have some impact on the swing weight.

I was speaking to the person that I usually buy from here in Australia. According to him, the rackets arrived on thursday to the yonex supplier warehouse and will be sent out on Monday.

"The rackets arrived in Yonex agent’s warehouse yesterday and should be dispatched to us next Monday. They should be available between next Tuesday and Thursday. I will let you know then.
I believe the stock of the first batch should be very limited (because worldwide launch at the same time). We may not get the quantity we ordered."

I am so gonna get the 88D! LOL...cant wait to replace the LD Force:)

There is no such thing as a racquet made for singles/doubles! I love bravesword 12 on singles so everything is possible! Just play with a racquet you’re comfortable with

Fortius Tour 3U5 still not available in SG. I decided to pre-order AX88S 3U5. :D hope to test it next week.

Hopefully it's at least a punctual launch.

Hmm maybe. But it is interesting. The 88D pretty much has taken the same region the LDF has taken.

Hi, yup I saw it. I have confirmed from the poster that those Swing Weights are for the 3U version of 88D and 88S. Since today is Monday, I was hoping someone (dealer) has the data on the swing weight of 4U version instead.

Right, I didn't notice you were asking about 4U. From what I've seen in the past, 4U versions are usually 2-3 g lower in swing weight from their 3U counterparts.

Probably not enough to fully account for the 2g swing weight difference between the S and D

My musing was meant for in general. Like let's say the ARC11 and AX88S. Supposedly the same spec. A different frame and materials and 5mm difference. But effectively seems to be the replacment. What about the difference there? Haha

would be difficult to ascertain i think, since yonex marketing has AX88S as head heavier than ARC11, as well as having 5mm shorter shaft?

i wonder if anyone would have examined this discrepancy in the old Ti series, maybe in the Ti-10 threads since they had both Regular and Long versions.
