Man, drifted off to sleep only to wake up by the delight of that scoreline. JoJo is in some form this tourney, as much as I like SYQ, MS1 was really important for INA to win. CHN despite of a B team still no cakewalk. Also, credits to the team management handled well the MD1 shortcoming
QB may not be the most physical nor most fancy shot maker but this guy is more gutsy than you expect from him, imo he's the dark horse and cane be the Saving grace. He did it against BSP, he can again today
Something wrong with that mat, Ginting was also slipped on exact location as SYQ. Is that Victor mat that LCW had complained before?
I have the same concern, Asia got 8/9 berths for TUC, surely continental team event & TUC qualifiers could do much better than this. And regarding the fact that Asian TUC qualifiers attended by less than half of Asian nations.. For the sport as a whole, it's worrying as well. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk
maybe it's the white paint for lines that's making it slippery ... or just old mats that loses the rubberness already ....
his play-style .... same as NO that's why i had always been wishing ginting could grow taller ever since the first time i saw him but alas .. only got 1 cm from his late-puberty stage period ...oh well better than nothing
It can be so because imo this tourney doesn't really matter, it doesn't really mean anything. Other than the "MAS or HKG Men team" contest almost everybody is already qualified by either the virtue of rankings or by hosting the event. I believe if this event provided more Ranking points or more prestige and acted not just like a dummy qualification programme it would be better. Plus, it's not under BWF that hurts it even more. Maybe after years when everybody can defeat anybody on a given day, and "dominating" nations can't just get away even by putting their "B teams" and the stadiums that earn the right to host these championships are "fit for latest technologies" than yes, we might witness a more competitive event.
Already many players had suffer ACL tear. LXR, Wang Lin, Maheswari, Maria Kristin, Okuhara, Sato. Ups I don't know why I only remember female players. Badminton sure is a risky sport specially for your knee.
Yup, this B team enter finale, shows their quality and a bit of luck factor yesterday as Malaysia didn't field Lee CW.
me and my group badminton buddies already secretly wished ginting would stop playing MS and maybe try MD partnering kevin ahahha would be 2 hamsters running around badminton court
i'm actually really wondering what CHN ms lineups in the Thomas cup..... they have so many MS giving oldies 1 last try at glory? or giving young ones a chance?
i think Anthony is also injured ? If he is fit 100% today, he wont have any problem to win his match today
