I would say the 2 matches that define their season (and could be their career) too. It is always easy to see the Finals that they won but i would say ...

First, when they were trailing LiLiu 14-17 in the 2nd game after losing 1st game (that was one of their worst one game defeat i believe) at MalaysiaOpen QF. They were bombarded in that rally too. They overcame that point , that game and that match. Had LiLiu won that match, there will be no hattrick no confidence brought forward( well not until 7SS kind of confidence). Instead LiLiu lost another 3 times to them feeling heartbroken each time. Maybe i watched live in stadium it makes me feel superstitious that this match is really important. Like on the brink of defeat yet still can win, it is quite unbelievable kind of match.

Second Match would be against Boe/Mogensen at SF JapanOpen - They were 1-4 H2H at that time and coming off losses just week before and we know what happen after that. They went on to win Japan and another hattrick.

FYI badminton in Indo is no longer dominated by Indo-chinese. There r only less than 1/4 of the national squad hv Chinese blood n so few in the world's top 10.
However, i dont want to go into details as I disagree w/ racism n further discussion will certainly worsen racism

Most Indonesian Chinese do not speak Chinese unlike Malaysia Chinese.

Malaysia Chinese speak Malay and Chinese.

Hahaha true, most of the Chinese descendant in Indonesia currently are the 4th or 5th generation. Each generation lost in touch with their origin culture further and further.

why kss always seems to have a problem with li/liu ? the match yesterday was hard to watch. I've never seen him doing that against liu/zhang or even boe/mog.

on the otherhand did he really not have any interest in gaining fans around the world ?
