I think this is a friendly reminder for BWF to make sure that they will need to have 4 players in one group and make sure to have both last matches done at the same time. They can do the first issue by creating an extra one invitation for a reserve player (e.g. 9th ranked who is willing to be a reserve player) if any player withdraw suddenly due to injury

WS is so competitive that being a beast isn't enough.

Akane does not have any medals . Does she have? .She has 4 medals in bigger events. This proves my point. How many people here have medals in Olympics or world championships. They are dying to have at least one bronze medal. But could not.
Time will come. She will win bigger titles as well. Akane tried everything. She could not do anything today.

    Chill.

Got nothing to do with tanking, you can tell from LCW's body language at the end of the game he's also disappointed in his own performance, and the cruise through game 2 while he was still up by a considerable margin. He underestimated SWH who's more hungry for a win today. Hope he learns for good to never underestimate and play around with your opponent when you have the chance to finish him off, at the age of 35.

    Correct.
It's kind of tough for LCW. He has qualified. Damn if he wins and damn if he doesn't. He still has to come out to play.

Can Ng Kah Long blame CL for pulling out?

I think SYQ wants to win without expending too much energy

If SYQ fails to win in two sets, he might conserve energy in the third, I think

At last, SK wins his first game of the tournament. Hope SYQ wouldn’t put too much energy in the decider

Wasted, G2 lost narrowly. Wonder what he might want to do in G3 ,or whether it's worth it. Hope he gets a good draw tomorrow

It might be wiser for SYQ to conserve energy for tomorrow, think of the big picture. This match is academic for him.

Sindhu was the better player today. But to be honest, AY seemed not be in her throttle today. It might be an energy saving strategy. In anyways, the answer will be out tomorrow
