Bad scheduling of Prannoy's match killed his prospects at China.........

Prannoy lacks the ability to recover from long gruelling matches. That is the reason why he has never won a Super Series.
Nothing to do with scheduling which is part of every badminton professional`s life.

Sports is cruel. After losing to Chinese youngster, the response given by people of india is unbelievable and ridiculous. Some spineless fellow even commented on some article by The times of india, " sindhu is the worst thing happened to indian badminton and she should be stripped off the 15 Crores given to her". Hypocrites.

26th Smt Krishna Khaitan All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament 2017 at Chandigarh

Many top players skipped this tournament as India IS and India IC
are coming up. Gayatri Gopichand played her first U-19 domestic tournament and won a 2 game thriller against Purve Barve. Malvika Bansod missed her chance of beating Gayatri in 2 games and lost in 3 in an earlier round. This gives a good indication that Gayatri will do well in the U-19 level as she improves her stamina, strength and endurance. :)

She looks SO pretty!!!!, but I would rather she was a savage on the court. The loss in China to Gao Fangjie was embarrassing, 10 and 12, she is too good for that

PV Sindhu will take time to improve her performance on the circuit. She remains a big match player! :)

Dinner was good. I ate a lot. The players are very disciplined on the food intake.

Gopichand just arrived in HK this morning. He missed the flight the day before.

Luckily, the first round matches start today. He is going to be very tired.

Srikanth Kidambi and HS Prannoy are brand ambassadors of ITM Institutes. No details given on how much money they will receive.

Dunno if this is in response to my matter of fact statement that "Prannoy lacks ability to recover from long gruelling matches".
If it is, then its rather unfortunate. Am all support for Indian players but we are and should be allowed analysis of both strengths and weaknesses of these players.
If all that we must say is "great game" and "well played", then there isnt much to say.
