Just a random question, supposedly i bought 2 rackets and only use one, will the other racket degrade even though it is not used?
Depend on your storage condition and age of racquet. Yes, all racquet degrade over time. In extreme hot or cold location, they degrade faster. But I have several 20 yr old racquets they still plays well. Just not as well as I remembered. May be it is because of me... but the grip will die because it is made of wood. If you store your “new” racquet in room temp and about 40-60% humidity, they will be good for 10 yrs. Any longer than that, who knows. I am not about to string up my collection and test them out.
