What's happening on Ct 4 ? Liu Cheng/Zhang Nan with 21-9 identical score against Goh V Shem/Teo Ee Yi !?
Du Yue? Coz I wanna see He jiting with Dora But I guess, since they'll split HYQ/Lu Kai I believe HYQ will be paired up with ZSW. And that'll be great, HYQ is very "stable" and mentally strong, something that's really important to support a young gun
Wow KamuraSonoda another defeat against RussianPair. Support my view that Kamura seems to be getting fatter. Just have no answer against the russian dynamites.
English pair defeated Denmark open champions? I never thought that. Are they that good? Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
Saina is smartly employing the same tactic Ratchanok used in Denmark. Increase downtime between rallies, don't let her be in that flow.
SN shows some glimpses here and there but AY overall way to quick for her, SN's current footwork is no match
KS vs WWKV on a non broadcasted court the latter played match of the day yesterday and arguably today, what's wrong organizers
Second time in a row . Now, there is a large gap between sindhu and all others including saina. No women singles for future. Nobody. Fate of india. Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
I think she looked really exhausted earlier and did very well to even drag it out this long. Look like simple mistakes due to fatigue. But imagine if she had allowed herself as much time between the rallies in the first game; the umpire was alright with it (has apparently never heard of "continuous play") and Saina probably would have had much more left in the tank for game two.
SN’s shot quality and tactical advantage will no more bail her out against opponents as quick as Akane. High time to get fitter and faster on court! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is a young pair, not very known, but I think it can be a good one, there are yet #35. But I think Tang/Tse were a bit too exhausted, they have already difficulties in the 1st round.
But there's no denying, our jewel is going down hill, other than her few wins here and there against RI, SJH and recently against CM she's struggling a lot. It's like when she really pushed herself she brings together everything and give away everything she has, like in the WC or against CM (cause of all the hype and increasing fan following of CM in India) she pulls one or two encourse but I don't see her winning a title anytime soon. it seems impossible for me to be disappointed when she looses. And since this is second in a row somebody as competitive as SN doesn't take it well, expecting her to come up with a bang next time. Indeed as Steen said, never outwrite her.
Right now, I would agree with you. She has the shots, the tactical awareness and the willpower to beat anyone on her day, but is struggling to do it over the course of an entire tournament week. However, that is surely a fitness issue, and of all the things I mentioned, fitness is the thing you can work on and improve most easily. On the other hand, I wonder if age isn't already a factor - the sport is so demanding and the competition in the women's game so fierce, that even the top players seem to pack it in much earlier than the men. The oldest player in the top 10 is SJH at 26, and she seems to be having the same problems: no major tournament win in two years. Second oldest is Marin at 24, everyone else is 23 and below. Saina will be 28 in March. I just looked it up out of curiosity. She is the second oldest player in the top 30, only Yip Pui Jin is older. Womens singles is tough.
