I just tested some swinging at amk Elink . It seems that Astrox 77 yellow 3U is sightly head heavier than the blue 3U.

So i decided to just get the blue one to try it out for my next games.

for the first time using this racket feel different you have mention for this two type racket, i never use before arc 11, but my friends have nanoray z speed i just borrow and play feel different technology ,for nanoray z speed is good in smashing but controlling and swing not fee that good as astrox 77, astrox 77 is new carbon technology, for me is best for both playing like offensive and deffensive, but you have to string to high tension only you can full perfomance for this racket, i still need sometime to try it, i will post again in feature once i have fully use it.

when you said high tension, how high was your Astox string tension at? I am also looking to get it. I am currently using mainly JS12 and sometimes VTZF2, both at 26 lbs.

High tension means at least a 28 by 26 stringing.

more higher string tension more harder, you need more stamina to play.

I wouldn't take that tension advice unless you want a circular head racket lol

No stringer is that stupid... or at least I hope so...

Nope, this is not true. The string tension must be right for the player, whether that is considered high or low. :)

Well. When there are people foolish enough to give such numbers. There's bound to be a stringer who will follow blindly XD

It makes sense to do so tho after confirming a few times. "Are you sure you want this tension?"

"It'll make your racket look like a table tennis paddle and it's supposed to be the other way around i.e +2 on crosses"

If he says yes to everything then it's his fault.

Nah. No stringer worth his salt will ever do that. It makes you liable to break the frame for nothing. If it were me, I would refuse to string it that way. Simplest reason, it was never designed to be done that way.

different player different idea different feeling, have to try only you can feel what type of tension suitable for you. if you try lower tension before you want to try higher tension only you can experience in between what tension you prefer.

Just got my Astrox 77 today, a 3ug5 yellow version. With dry swing felt head heavier than DZS, shorter handle and shaft. Will compare it with DZS on my next game which is on Sunday. Cheers. ;)

Mark, do you reckon this is the carbon breakthrough you've been talking about? Or rather, a possibility of it?
