Ahh, that colour ticks me off. Looks like my eyes still can't verify rackets, my bad Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No surprises. Nanospeed - > Nanoray Arcsaber -> Duora Voltric -> Astrox Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
Its *NOT*. Astrox is a new series to replace Voltric, being head heavy, and 77 direct comparison would be the Voltric 70/70Etune. Don't know where you got it that AX77 is replacing the ZF2.
Did anyone say head heavy? Maybe we just have to wait for the Astrox Z racquet to come and replace the ZF2.
The color combination honestly makes it look sort of 'low class'... I can see this racket replacing either the VT 70 as others have mentioned before or the LDF.
Hi Guys I currently got hold of the demo to test out, and using it for the first time it was hard for me to adjust my timing for the racket. I'm not sure if it's the rotational generator system that is making it difficult to adjust my timing but hopefully I can get a good feel of the racket in the next few weeks
have you seen how secy the matte black ldf looks???? I agree though, this rackets aesthetics are horrible
So the Astrox 77 is an unlikely flagship to the Astrox range, as judging by the yonex.jp website the listed price is ¥23,000 which is quite modest (D10 for example is ¥28,000). This makes me suspect that another Astrox is on the way soon... One that will be a heavier and more powerful. If the Astrox 77 replaces the VT70ET then perhaps there will be another Astrox soon that will replace the venerable VT80ET? One can only speculate....
Of course duh.... they just launched a new series and everybody immediately thinks this will be the one to trounce a ZF2. Lame. VT70 was numb when it first launched and didn't even feel much of a HH to be honest... Going by the numbering, Astrox 88 would/should be the 80ETN replacement. Maybe the Z would be Z-Jupiter since they can say unleash the smash of the biggest planet of the heaviest mass onto your poor flaccid unsuspecting opponents with the "Horizon"-al A Concept and inter-galactic compact frame with the sweet spot so big, it's like holding a black hole. HAH.
