When did I claim a 100% Saina will sweep everyone??
Infact a 100% 28 year old Saina will not just lose 9/10 times to Noise Pollution but quite a few times to others in top 10 too.

Being at 100% has no relevancy to winning or losing in my book.

Being at 100% is displaying your best possible and beating YOURSELF. If the opponent plays better OR if in a tight game luck plays its part, you will still lose.

Some of us are clearly a bit riled.
I am not since I had zero expectations today. Still smarting from Srikanth's shock ouster. Still in utter disbelief. Now thats a lad who is at 100% and in the rally where he had 2 low lifts and beat SWH in defence, he was 100%. Yet he lost.

Somebody posted what Saina said earlier here about not being back 100% yet, etc, and the some of her fans here take it from there with the kind of implications that her loss to Nozomi today is sort of unwarranted.

That is a fair amount of extrapolation.

I will post you a video when I reach my home. She is still suffering from the pain after her surgery. Her determination made her to get bronze medal.

Have read that post of what Saina said and then what these guys are quarrelling with me about ? What does Saina back to 100% means if at her current level she's already in the semifinals of a WC ? To me, it's becoming silly and childish to argue further.

I say, just let Saina prove it to us . Didn't she say we will know when she's back 100% ?

Don't bother. No point overplaying her injury card. If she is not fit to compete at the highest level, no doctor is so unethical and be so stupid as to take the risk of ruining their own career, not only the patient's, to give Saina the green light to play.

Saina will never be 100% because she will always compare herself to her younger self....Just like all of us do:)

Well, 100% is not something absolutely necessary. All you have to do is to be better than your opponent in the match, whether you are 50 or 100%.

To be honest, this is the best I've ever seen Saina play. Unfortunately the game has progressed an unbelievable amount in the last 3 years, and that means she lost despite playing amazingly well. I can hardly believe she was injured not so long ago, and I didn't see any of it today.

Even then, you can win whilst being the worse player.

She looked amazingly fit. Don't forget she already played a blockbuster the day before.

My sentiments too. Just look at how she played Sung Ji Hyun, Kirsty Gilmour, and Nozomi Okuhara. Try telling them Saina is far from 100%, or else. What does that imply, wait till Saina is at 100%, then what ?

He is very adamant, it's not the first time he is doing that, he has a habit of initiating a stupid argument and later he acts as if he is the only one talking sense and rest of us are fools, that's a classic Justin If you haven't been reading his posts lately.
