To be honest, there's only one interesting match on day 1:

    Tommy SUGIARTO [IMG]
    -
    [IMG] HU Yun

And even then, Hu Yun has lost relatively simply the last three times they've played.

Day 2 looks much more appetising.

BWF starts streaming on day 3, I think.

The Chrome extension ProxFlow seems to have replaced the old ProxTube and is working for the Youtube streams.

The kitbox is so flimsy, can't bear the weight of the player's stuff and gave way, affecting the French side, during the XD French vs INA match now playing as shown on TV.

Also caught a glimpse of Peter Gade on courtside for the French pair.

INA pair making a lot of mistakes towards the end of the 1st game.

Both PG and the other French coach speaking English to the French players at the interval. I'd have thought a smattering of French with hand gestures is more to be expected than communicating in English, the French are widely known to be proud of their language.

Why is the INA pair without a coach?

I never expected the French pair to beat Indonesian pair.

It's the pressure of a big tournament. On another day, I think the INA pair would have won.

Because they are independent player not from PBSI and cost too much money if they bring their own coach

Ronan Labar is a quality player. He pushed Hendra Setiawan/ Mohd. Ahsan in 2015 World Champs, Jakarta to three very tight sets.
