Like the new colorway. Much better than the old one. Frankly, every morning when I put the toothpaste on my sonicare, I think over the JS10. IMO the new colour way is an improvement compared to the gothic toothpaste look.
I know that you are very much into sweet colors. But the whole color scheme on this one just seems so... randomly over-the-top sweet... I clearly prefer the good old Odol-look too!
In Yumo's page it looks like the shaft stiffness descriprion of the neon virtual pink is even balanced compared to the slightly stiff rating of the classic one.
Yeah, you are right. Run my old JS10's with pink string and pink overgrip Miami Vice style. ATM I'm looking for a new pair of shoes and nothing is sweet enough. Also looking for a new jersey for tournaments and nothing has this " 90's bathing suit LSD style" flavour.
Hi all.. Does anyone know the US code on victor rackets? For which country? Thanks Sent from my MI 4W using Tapatalk
There are so many pages. I have no time to read. Do you guys know when JS10 NC would be available in Singapore?
Hey guys, what's the grommet type I should be using for the JS10 ? And when do I know it is time to change them ?
Saw the new paint scheme at a local store.I checked it to see any apparent differences with old version, and the shark tec thingies are missing in this version.
I have two of the original JS10s bought 1 year apart, second one had no Mitsubishi. For the sharktec, there are like small dot projections on shaft and the frame if i remember correctly at 11,1, 5,7 o' clock positions approx. if you run your finger through shaft and frame you can feel it for the previous JS 10.
Yeah there was no listing of it on the update JS10 page on Victor. Wonder why they have not kept it as it did not make an appearance on this updated racket nor JS12/JS12F.
Does anyone seriously believe that aerdynamics can be tricked so easily by adding a couple of pimples on a surface? Come on. If that was the case, you would see all the Formula 1 cars covered in pimples. By the way, that's how complex the structure of true shark skin looks like in reality (magnified by a lot): And let's not forget, a shark does swim in water instead of air... Maybe Victor has finally acknowledged this fact and decided to save another couple of cents by dropping the pimples now.
F1 cars are made with tapered profiles everywhere which is not possible on a racket shaft. I'm not sure these are really comparable. Golf balls, on the other hand, do have a similar construction.
Dimples on golf balls or pimples on rackets are used for converting laminar airflow to turbulent airflow for better aerodynamics. And yes it works. Doesn't matter whether it's shark skin in water or golf balls in air, it's still fluid dynamics. http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/sports/golf/basics/question37.htm
Darn it visor. I've made such a good point (with electron microscope pictures and all) and now here you are coming up with a boring golf ball and just crushing it like that? Call me a sceptic, but let me put it this way - how many percent of the total JS10 frame surface is equipped with shark tec pimples? 5%? I simply refuse to believe that these couple of bumps are influencing the air resistance to a point where you can actually feel or even measure it. And from a marketing perspective I do wonder why Victor has kept this tech only to so little rackets and now even seems to withdraw it even further. Why not doing it the other way round and realease a whole SharkSpeed (SharkThruster?) line that is totally covered in pimples?
