Hello. Today I was playing singles with my friend and I noticed that in about midle of our game I started to misshit a lot. I had this issue before but never thought that it is related to something else than myself. But today I thought that this could be related to me sweating really bad. Sweat gets into the eyes and it makes my vision blured/worse than normal. Could this be the case? Did someone of You had this issue? Would headband help me?
If you sweat a lot, sure a headband would help, or you can use a wrist band and use it to swipe across your forehead, as well as also taking a little time to wipe with a towel if you have one nearby and it does not distract from the flow of the game.
I have longish hair (for today's standards anyhow...) and nearly always wear a headband when playing so I suggest you give it a try. What I don't understand is why 99% of professionals are content to drip sweat on court and frequently flick it courtside!
